I had loads of damage due to late frost in 2010 as a beginner gardener, and as a 1 year old gardener this year I got caught out again. I'd been looking for something for the whole year and found the odd thing online that looked promising but none turned out to do what I wanted so having been hit a second time, I developed something myself.

I've put it on Android market place and it's called ColdSnap! Frost Alarm. I'm afraid it's not free and it's only on Android, but at 99p it's equiv to a price of cucumber seeds basically !

It's not technically a 'Frost' alarm but what it does is to check the forecast for you and put a notification on screen if a low temperature is forecast (you configure the temperature, location etc and it just sits in the background checking the forecast for you). So it'll sit there for quietly...then warn you just at the right time.

https://market.android.com/det...

any feedback welcome (you can contact me on my name gmail.com)

thanks,
Antony.Cook

Re: How much electricity does a fridge-freezer use in a week?

How much electricity does a fridge-freezer use in a week?

Re: How much electricity does a fridge-freezer use in a week?

How much electricity does a fridge-freezer use in a week?

Re: How much electricity does a fridge-freezer use in a week?

How much electricity does a fridge-freezer use in a week?

Re: If it’s impossible to waste water, why do we need more reservoirs?

This is cool!
